It’s the last week for fundraising on my Kickstarter project.  Once again I’d like to thank everyone who has backed this project.  I’m very close to reaching my first stretch goal and I’d love to hit it.

_MG_7895wks

I launched a new project on Kickstarter.   It has been very successful so far and the project has reached 69% of it’s funding goal in less than 24 hours.

I want to thank all the backers for their generous support.

Roman, Saxon and Asian Inspiration

_MG_7805w

_MG_7805w  This vessel is inspired by pottery found in an old Roman signal station near Scarborough Castle.  It is made from American Beech and flamed to give it a rich color and aged look.

_MG_7815w  This vessel was inspired in part by a Saxon urn that dates to around 400 A.D.  I modified the form some and added a few details to give it a little Southwest flavor.  It is made from American Beech and was flamed to give it it’s rich color and aged look.  It also features a small copper inlay.

_MG_7832w  Basswood with bark inclusions and a small copper inlay.  The form draws on elements of Asian architecture.
